When the other servants saw what happened, they were very upset. They went to the king and told him everything.
Then the king called the first servant back and said, ‘You wicked man! I forgave all your debt because you begged me to. Shouldn’t you have shown the same kindness to your fellow servant?’
The king was very angry and sent the man to prison until he could pay back everything he owed.
Jesus said, ‘This is how my Father in heaven will treat you if you do not forgive others from your heart.’”
