Jesus was walking toward a village. Ten men with leprosy saw Him from far away. They shouted, “Jesus, please have mercy on us!”

Jesus looked at them and said, “Go and show yourselves to the religious leaders.” As they walked, something wonderful happened—they were healed. Their skin became clean again.

One man saw he was healed and came back to Jesus. He shouted his thanks with a happy heart. He fell at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him many times. This man was from another group of people, so many in that society saw him as an outsider.

Jesus said, “Weren’t ten men healed? Where are the other nine? Is this man the only one who came back to say thank you?” Then Jesus told him, “Stand up and go. Your faith has made you well.
